WIW Black and White Floral with Converse

Dug out my ancient beloved Converse mid tops (seriously they are about two decades old) which have black and white flames and skulls, and paired them with a sheer floral black, white and gray top and silver coated jeans. This is a lot of pattern for me and often feel like I want to reduce it somehow. Accessories are a charcoal leather cuff, small flower earrings and a pearl gray bag.

I struggle with whether Converse are too juvenile in an outfit like this, but too warm today to add a jacket which would have been nice to take it up a notch and reduce the pattern impact. . Suggestions or tweaks welcome.

Very nice the silver  jeans look great with your beautiful hair.

I think the outfit is terrific as it is. the Converse have a glam-sporty look to them, not juvenile to my eye.

I also like this look a lot. Not juvenile, very well composed.

    Well, I wear Converse quite a bit - and I’m 61 yo!

I’m 61 too runCarla! No one is taking my Converse from me if I can help it. But I wanna make sure I’m wearing them in a grown-up way. Maybe it’s just a part of my style that I have to have something glamorous with the more trendy or urban elements. I’ll have to go look at your posts. Thank you.

Fab! There’s enough grit here; the chucks aren’t juvenile :)

Really like how the floral shirt is bookmarked with the floral cons.  So fun.  And not juvenile at all

Another fantastic outfit and I don't see your styling as juvenile at all. One advantage of white (or black and white) hair is it serves as a counterpoint to any suggestion of juvenile. At least to me!

There is nothing juvenile in you styling, with your immaculate hair and make-up, this looks grown up and fun. This is a great outfit.
