Pattern mixing with Burgundy, Pink and Blue

I’m not usually a pattern mixer, but thought I’d try this burnout velvet top with a Spring like scarf. The scarf has similar floral shapes as the top and has colors in common.  Hard to capture the way the top looks in real life. Love my new boots!

Moonstone earrings, white bag and light scarf background adds the light I need.

I can also see the harmony between the scarf and the top.  I like!

Yes! It works very well! Palette and pattern vibe are happy! Cute teal boots too. Well done :)

LOVE the white bag with your hair.

Love this. The burgundy + pink combo is so cool. I’m not a huge makeup fan, but that lip color is just right. I love the boots too. You could also try the pewter ones with this outfit, for a change.

About the burn-out blouse, I was thinking —you don’t really need to do anything to give it shape, accentuate the waist, or whatever. I bet it’s transparent enough irl that your shape is visible through it, in a tempting kind of way. And here you are wearing it like that!

Completely works. Through colour and material :)

Thanks Star, SF, Rachylou, and Angie! The boot color is called jade but they are a bit chameleon-like depending on the other colors they can look like teal, denim or petrol. I hope they blend with navy.

SF, you are right, after my last post trying to create waist definition, I decided to try it as it is, loose and flowy. Sometimes I get caught up in the “rules” for hourglass shape.

The burnout top is great on you and the white bag is perfect. Love the wide frayed jeans too. The magic though is in the mix!

Those colors are beautiful on you.  The earrings add a special touch.

The blouse (that is fab, by the way) and the scarf go very well together!
    I like your lipstick.

Very nice pattern and texture mix! Your lip color is glamorous and flattering.  It’s nice to see bright lips on someone after we’ve all hidden under masks for such a long time!

Beautiful mixing! I like how the scarf adds a more ‘spring’ tone!

Thanks Mirjana, LJP, KK, Joy, Cardiff girl, Jonesy, Suz, Nikki, Robin, Merwoman, you are all so sweet!

Thank you Jaime, the mix is what I need to work on going forward.

Sisi and Staysfit, I always wear this same color — it seems to go with everything I own :)
